The MacFarlane Suite (King Bed, Huge Bathroom)
A large retreat featuring a plush King-sized bed, cozy private sitting area and tons of closet space. Pamper yourself in the massive en-suite bathroom featuring a glorious, deep soaking tub. The ultra-private walk-out veranda is perfect for morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or clothing-optional midday sunbathing.
The Junior Suite (Queen Bed, Ensuite Bathroom)
A quiet sanctuary with a Queen-sized bed and its own private, full en-suite bathroom. We've also included a comfortable leather chair with a side table perfectly sized for your glass of whiskey. Like all our bedrooms, thoughtful touches include chargers, a TV, a humidifier, and fan.
The Bunk Room (Twin Bunk Bed)
Perfect for kids or singles, the miners' bunk room features a super-sturdy twin-over-twin bunk bed and dresser, plus a closet. The bathroom is just down the hall. While this is our smallest room, we've worked hard to make it cozy & comfortable for any age.
The Flex Room (Twin Futon)
At the back of the house on the main floor is our flex room, featuring a leather futon that folds down to an additional sleeping space when you have an extra guests. The regular futon is best for a child, as it's short, but the futon chair is adult-sized and we have a mattress pad to make it a bit more comfortable. With light-blocking curtains and the bathroom nearby, it's an excellent extra sleeping space for larger groups.

Whether you're just hanging out with friends or family, or venturing to adventure-filled days in nature and wild nights at the casino, Central City, Black Hawk, Gilpin & Clear Creek Counties have a ton of ways to relax, play, or party. The MacFarlane Home is in the middle of it all. We're easily walkable to town, minutes from casinos, and a short drive to some of Colorado's best choices for outdoor adventures. Plus, we're an easy drive from Denver (and you can avoid the terrible I-70!), so it's the perfect place for a perfect getaway.

Central City & Black Hawk are home to Colorado's casinos, but the hotels are overpriced or underwhelming. Stay with us and you'll have a nicer place to celebrate when you win big (or a place to come if you ... didn't).

Head down Virginia Canyon to Idaho Springs and ride the brand-new Mighty Argo Cable Car up to Miners Point for breathtaking continental divide views, mountain biking, and historic gold mine tours.
⛷️ Skiing & Snowboarding
We're not far from Colorado's best ski resorts, and it's the reason we moved here in the first place! Loveland and Eldora are the closest, but Winter Park, Keystone, Copper & Breckenridge are all within 45-90 minutes, depending on traffic. Beat most of I-70's winter madness without spending an arm and a leg!
